Ladies' guide to daily outfits and accessories that you can afford with items even from your own closet

I know it's been a few days since the Oscar's, but I needed some time to process my picks for best dressed. Not only that, I've been quite busy.

So, to get ready for your next big event, check out these red carpet look-a-like dresses at reasonable prices. You'll be sure to leave people talking.

Olivia Wilde - I don't think she could make pregnancy look anymore glamorous! She's stunning and the back definitely makes it all the more perfect.
Look-a-Like - L'Agence Leather-Trimmed Open-Back Maxi Dress from Barney's for $498. You could always add a white sash/fabric on the back to make it look even more similar.

Jennifer Lawrence - I'm a sucker for red dresses. This dress is absolutely simple yet chic. Also, props to a new and inventive way of wearing a necklace. Why don't more people do this?
Look-a-Like - Bari Jay 730 (Available in Brick or Cranberry) from Wedding Shoppe, Inc. for $147.

Jessica Biel - Love the flattering shape of this dress. Not to mention, the slight shimmer affect.
Look-a-Like - Hailey by Adrianna Papell Strapless Glitter Gown from Amazon for $209

Julia Roberts - Classy and Elegant. She does this dress justice and I absolutely love the lace detailing.
Look-a-Like - Jarlo Button Peplum Maxi Dress with Lace Collar from Asos.com for $75.28

Giuliana Rancic - She's one of my favorites and she can pull off this dress without a doubt. To put it simply it's just gosh darn pretty!
Look-a-Like - Speechless 'Princess Ballgown' Floral Bodice Tulle Gown from Nordstrom for $180

Lupita Nyong'o - This isn't one of my favorite colors on her, but I love the story behind how she picked it. Also, it's a darling dress. Not only that, but the headband just makes it. Absolutely stunning with the diamonds!
Look-a-Like - Pinko Black Long Dress (Sky Blue) from
Yoox.com for $194

Angelina Jolie - There always needs to be one long-sleeved dress that rocks the red carpet and this was it!
Look-a-Like - This one is definitely pricier, but it's the only one I could find remotely close to Angelina Jolie's. Theia Lace Boatneck Gown from Saks Fifth Avenue for $1,195

If you couldn't already tell, I absolutely love the actresses with the girl-next-door look about them. Rachel McAdams is just like Jennifer Aniston in the sense that she goes for very simple, but it works and her outfits are still something to talk about. Ultimately, they both don't need to go over-the-top with their clothes because if I had their gorgeous looks, I definitely wouldn't want to take away from or hide what's already there.

Not only does Rachel McAdams look absolutely fabulous in her simple every day casual wear, but she, without-a-doubt, rocks it when it comes to her gowns/dresses for award shows and red carpets. You should definitely check out some of these looks. I don't know how you wouldn't be able to agree with me.

I love this outfit (pictured) of hers because it's perfect for a spring/summer weekend just running errands or having a lunch date. It's something you can throw on quick, but it still looks good.

This outfit speaks volumes for the fashionista side of Jennifer Aniston. She's one that always goes simple, but pulls it off great!

Today on the Rachael Ray Show, she had on Candace Cameron Bure. You all know her as DJ from Full House. She looks amazing and I loved the outfit she was wearing. Super simple, but flattering! Low and behold, it's your lucky day because I have found the exact same dress. It's a bit pricier than things I usually post, but I couldn't pass it up since it's the exact one.

You can't see it in the picture, but she was also wearing really cute yellow heels.

Giuliana and Bill Rancic are one of my all-time favorite celebrity couples. They could not be cuter together, especially now with their adorable son, and of course, with Giuliana being on E!'s Fashion Police, she always has great style. This outfit is one of my favorite street looks that she was captured sporting, and it would be perfect for a work look.

Today as I was watching Rachael Ray's Show, she had on Lawrence Zarian, style expert and author. He brought up the best style tip. All you need to do for a whole new look is take any short pattern dress from your closet and wear a plain colored skirt over it, or you could do the reverse with a plain colored dress and a pattern skirt. This is absolutely genius! So, check out your closet and try it out.

For more style tips, look for Lawrence Zarian's book, "Ten Commandments for a Perfect Wardrobe" coming out on February 25th.

I love everything about Jessica Alba! She's just downright gorgeous and always sports the best outfits. So when choosing this outfit of hers, I thought about all this lovely winter weather going on throughout the U.S. and felt it only appropriate to do a fab look that you can wear out in the cold. Don't forget the red lipstick to complete the look!

So.....Bundle Up!

I was fortunate enough to catch the Katie Couric Show this morning and on it she had one of my favorites, Lauren Conrad. If you don't already know who Lauren Conrad is, you should. She is a fashion guru, blogger, writer, reality star, and philanthropist. Lauren has now embarked on a new endeavor. She was on the show talking about her new website, The Little Market. What The Little Market is is where "they work with artisan groups in developing countries around the world. They provide design insight and showcase the skills of the artisan partners to a broader audience. All proceeds go back to the groups through the sales of their products. The sole purpose to them is to combat poverty, empower communities, and create social justice."

Mission " is to build sustainable partnerships with artisans in developing countries, by connecting them with customers through an online marketplace. We seek to empower women artisans to rise above poverty and support their families.

Our handmade goods showcase the artisans’ traditional skills and their dedication to preserving their artisanal techniques.  We source all of the artisans’ products ethically and practice fair trade  principles. We acknowledge the interdependency of people around the world and our responsibility to help others."

Not only does the shop have accessories, but they also have items for the holidays, baby items, decor, kitchen items, and trunks. They have some absolutely adorable and great products and I still can't believe that it all goes to a good cause. To feel good about what you're doing when you're shopping is a definite WIN WIN! In addition, who wouldn't want to have a great talking piece that they can show off to guests in your home or wear it out and about?!

Check out their website for more information about the different artisans, values, social responsibility, the goods (of course), and more. This is such an amazing shop for what it stands for and for who it benefits.

This is a MUST checkout website/shop!
